Established in Quebec City, The Blaze Velluto Collection takes its name from a collection of songs assembled by the enigmatic Blaze himself. Through a blend of rock n' roll, folk, country, pop and R&B, wrapped in a benevolent psychedelic spirit and fertile imagery, his music carries no boundaries. This amalgam of genres also shines through the project's iconic visual identity. Over the years, Blaze has been able to deliver music videos that transcend the limits of the mind.

Weatherman (2017), a debut LP of free-spirited pieces, first emerged as an independent release, before being re-edited in 2018. Two years later, Their sophomore, We Are Sunshine (2020) saw the light of day, offering an array of catchy tunes without ever compromising any of it’s soulfulness by balancing the beauty of the lyrics with the irresistible grooves on every track.

In the past years, The Blaze Velluto Collection has captivated Quebec and Canadian audiences, playing in festivals with a show that transports us to coastal America in the heart of July. On stage, Blaze is surrounded by a core group of musicians and singers composed of Little Miss Roy, Sheenah Ko, Guillaume Chiasson (Bon Enfant) and Jean-Étienne Collin-Marcoux (Beat Sexü). In the studio, he has made a habit of bringing together more than fifteen artists and friends during the production of his albums. Once again, the experiment has been fruitful, as Blaze is unveiling the expansive sound of What's on Your Mind?, a third LP released in the early fall of 2023, like a pledge to an endless summer.
